Caudill and McNeight

Caudill Orthodontics is a British West Indies new construction commercial building located on Stadium Parkway in Rockledge, Florida. The two-story building provides a ground floor tenant space for future medical use and a second-floor space for the orthodontics office. A tower on the southeastern corner of the building is the focal point and highlights the British West Indies style. It combines the refined colonial elements of stucco and wood brackets with the coastal Caribbean flair of siding and louvered shutters. A residential feeling that would be welcoming to the patients was important to the client so we combined warm wood interiors, a classic crème base color, oil rubbed bronze hardware and bright blue accent colors pulled from the client’s logo. In addition, playful touches inspired by the wave in Caudill Orthodontics’ logo were used throughout the exterior and interior design. The entry ground sign along with the entry wall of the building features a swooshing curve and an undulating acoustical cloud in the form of a wave was utilized in the client’s waiting room.
