Frogbones

Frogbones Family Shooting Center is a gun range, shop and restaurant packed into one facility in Melbourne, FL. With the growth of their business since their inception in 2015, they have seen exponential growth in their online sales business and service they provide to customers. Their management approached MelD to expand their current facility with new offices, warehouse/receiving, and classroom space. The site presented many issues including relocation of parking, drainage and existing building issues. Our goal with the expansion was to create a two-story building with offices and a receiving/warehouse space on the first floor. It would connect to the existing facility through their existing administration office. The second floor space is designed as a new work area for the employees as well as a training facility for customers. One of the successful elements of the project was the ability to design a second floor group meeting space with a single means of egress. This was accomplished through strategic placement of the stairs within the building.
