Holy Trinity IDEAS Institute

The IDEAS Institute, Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship, Applied Solutions, is a 29,745-square-foot academic building and the centerpiece of a larger campus renewal plan at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy. Designed as a future-forward learning environment, the building supports interdisciplinary education in robotics, engineering, digital media, and entrepreneurship.

Located at the edge of a reimagined campus quad, the building activates a new “Great Lawn,” featuring shade trees, curving walkways, and informal seating that follow natural pedestrian flow. Its form combines a contemporary glass entry with pitched rooflines, modernizing the Florida Vernacular to harmonize with the existing campus. A black-and-white color palette provides contrast while highlighting student art and the surrounding landscape.

Inside, transparency and flexibility define the learning experience. Glass walls offer views into key spaces like the Robotics Lab, Innovation Gym, and Broadcast Studio. A flexible Presentation Room, social commons with bleacher seating, and collaborative faculty areas foster creativity, connection, and student agency. A counseling suite and math classrooms support both academic and personal growth.
