The Modern Oceanfront Residence is an addition to an existing 1980’s modern residence on the ocean. The Client wanted to create a courtyard style residence with a private pool and additional living, outdoor and bedroom spaces. The living area of the addition reflects the existing architect of the main house with a flat roof, large fascia and minimal details. The public area of the addition reflects architectural traits of Mid-Century Modern architecture with a low sloped roof, clear-story windows and expansive glass. The addition sits in front of the existing residence with a breezeway and pool connecting the two structures together.
